New exposition: "Unity in diversity"
05 October 2009
A fantastic new exposition is on display on the plaza level of the FiftyTwoDegrees building. Three artists from Nijmeegen show their works: Bepke Wasmann, Laurien Renckens and Dick van den Heuvel.
Bepke Wasmann is a photographer. Her work capatures a beauty that speaks in silence. Laurien Renckens is a painter. Her paintings, build layer by layer, display fields of colour and symmetry. Dick van den Heuvel is a sculptor. His statues in stone and bronze are build around the theme of "silence moving - movement in silence".
Although the artists work from their completely unique individual background, skill and theme, the exposition on display show a surprising unity.
The plaza of FiftyTwoDegrees is open on working days for the public from 7:00 am to 21:00 pm.
